The Whigs have announced some big stuff as of late. This Athens, GA trio is celebrating their forthcoming album, In the Dark, in their return to The Late Show with David Letterman on March 31st. The band has also released tour dates to show off their new songs.
Named in 2006 as one of Rolling Stone’s “Artists to Watch,” this band has definitely lived up to the praise. Their previous records have given them the reputation of a lively band with impressive range, and their past tours have received great praise. So, this one should be no exception. The Whigs will be joining Black Rebel Motorcycle club in a quick three week non-stop tour of the west coast that will kick off on February 26ths in Sacramento.
But the fun doesn’t stop there. The band will also be making an appearance at South by Southwest and will be announcing a co-headlining tour in late March. Keep your ears open for that tour, but in the mean time keep yourselves busy with this one. Dates are posted below.
