Sounding like some crazy anime character, Rifoki is ready to sonically beat your face in. This latest project is the brainchild of DJ wonders Steve Aoki and Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo in a foray into their roots: punk hardcore.
Their debut ep, Rifoki, will be released on Dim Mak Records and April 77 Records. Dim Mak being the home to both Aoki’s and Rifo’s projects.
This won’t be the first collaboration for the duo. Rifo, also known as part of the Italian duo The Bloody Beetroots, have brought in Aoki on different remixes and versions of their songs.
Recorded in Italy, the duo are showing this not only as a return to their roots, but also an expansion on what their experiences have thought them
