If you want to hear the newest crop of music The Parenthetical Girls have created you might have to work for it. The aptly named Privilege series is set to start on February 23 2010, but this will not be an ordinary release. Only 500 12″ copies will be created, thats it. The Parenthetical Girls have no plans to release the songs on any other physical format.
Getting to hear this songs will be a real Privilege. This first 12″ LP On Death & Endearments is rare enough that the each LP will be numbered (1-500) in the band members blood. The rest of Privilege will be released in an additional 4 more pieces every few months until May 2011 . None of which will be sold in stores.
