San Jose Jazz Festival Celebrates 20 Years
San Jose plays host to some great jazz and funk this coming weekend. Named the “Best Festival of Silicon Valley” for 3 consecutive years, the San Jose Jazz Festival will feature over 100 concerts spanning 9 stages over 3 days.
This summer, the festival celebrates its 20th anniversary. The lineup includes a diverse mix of local and youth acts, as well as regional, national and international artists including a few legendary performers. While the lineup isn’t stacked, there are definitely some great sets to catch and with tickets going for $15 per day this event is pretty much recession-proof.
Here are some recommendations:

Panthelion (10PM)
Saturday
Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears **2 sets** (2PM and 7PM)
