Paul & The Patients To Offer Fresh, New Music for Free Each Week

paul-and-the-patientsAs a gift to the music-obsessed, Paul & The Patients will be offering free and paid downloads of their self-recorded songs. They’re calling the project “To the Lions” after the similarly-titled debut EP released earlier this year. You can download them from the band’s Song of the Week Blog.

The first song is called “Tiny Red Light.” It’s a slow, simple piece full of echo-y vocals that only hints at their full song-writing capabilities. It’s a nice, smooth intro into their stuff and sounds gritty and undone enough to give it intimacy and make you feel like you might be one of their girlfriend-groupies watching them practice in the garage.

The download also includes the full lyrics. I eat, sleep, and breathe song lyrics, so this is just icing on the cake, guys.

Give them a big thank you by going to see them at CMJ on October 21. They’ll be playing the Rumble CMJ Party at Southpaw in Brooklyn.
