The Postelles have recently started to make a name for themselves . Rolling Stone deemed they have a “sneering attitude all their own”.  The band, based out of NYC, is fronted by Daniel Balk who provides both lead vocals and guitar. Friends: David Dargahi (supporting vocals & guitar), John Speyer (bass) and Billy Cadden (drums) round out the rest of The Postelles. The band has recently shared the stage with Vampire Weekend, Fanfarlo and Yeasayer.  This spring, The Postelles are embarking on a tour with HOCKEY. The tour is in support of their debut EP White Night, which The Postelles recorded in the landmark Electric Lady Studios.  The band also plans to participate in SXSW this year. All the while maintaing a residency throughout February at the Bowery Electric. It ’s  a busy 2010 for The Postelles!
