Rev. Anderson Brings The Gospel Across The East River on Sunday, July 12 @ The Globe
The Reverend Vince Anderson, oddball holy man and source of the Dirty Gospel, has been spreading his message in Brooklyn for a few years now. This guy’s track record includes everything from ministering at San Francisco’s countercultual Gilde Memorial Church to dropping out of seminary school to founding his own CHURCH OF THE HOLY UNRULY SPIRIT OF GOD IN CHRIST; but for a full explanation, or just an idea of what you’re dealing with, check out his myspace page. And now he’s making an appearance in Manhattan. Anderson’s show at The Globe this Sunday (of course), July 12 will include TV on the Radio’s Jaleel Bunton on guitar. The show is free, but pass-the-plate donations are welcomed. The first of 2 sets will start at 9pm. Come get clean!
